Lau Foundation creates a powerful learning experience for diverse students to achieve their educational potential by gathering school supplies and donating them to schools, which is intended to improve the learning and living conditions of the people we serve. In our services, we do not discriminate against any person, group, or school based on religion, age, gender, illness, physical or developmental disability, and any other reason prohibited by law. We can build solid partnerships and foster collaboration through negotiation to meet our goal in charitable services.
The mission of the Lau Foundation is to create K-12 learning opportunities and supporting educational programs to build a better and peaceful community.
Every child we serve is prepared and has the opportunity to attend school and succeed in community building.
The Lau Foundation was formed in 2022 as a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, by S Pee Vululleh who saw a critical need for learning in the community, to create learning opportunities for K-12 kids by providing the services they need for education. The nonprofit was founded by S Pee Vululleh, who currently serves as the Executive Director. We are located in the City of Puyallup, Washington, USA. The Lau Foundation was formed for the purpose of inspiring K-12 kids to acquire education and strengthen communities by providing the educational services they need to improve their individuals’ quality of life. Since our formation in April 2022, we have succeeded in obtaining our Article of Incorporation and Federal Tax Exemption.
We work in the United States and some parts of Africa, especially West Africa, Liberia, to reach and support children in greatest need of education. Through our educational support programs, we play an active and critical role in promoting the educational interest of K-12 children, which has long-term benefits for them and their communities. Our main office is in the United States, in Washington State.
We can tackle educational issues that the community and families may not have the resources to solve, including programs and projects such as K-12 faculty development, school feeding, student exchange, registration and tuition assistance, school supplies, and constant support. Our services can impact students’ successful attendance and retention, which are associated with many positive outcomes, including but not limited to increased social competence, communication, and problem-solving skills, improved academic performance, feelings of belonging, and increased civic engagement. Our investments can further impact K-12 kids in the following ways:
• become high school graduates with a diploma and a robust social network;
• become adults with confidence and lead positive social activities for a better community;
• develop relationships with positive community members.
Lau Foundation provides a way for communities and people to work together for their children’s education and transform their shared beliefs to translate their hopes into action.
